Yamaha Sport FJR1300 and FJR1300A

From Yamaha Press release

Yamaha have just unveiled the 2003 European model Yamaha Sport “FJR1300” and its standard-equipped ABS version “FJR1300A” at the “Intermot Munich 2002” in Munich, Germany. This is the first change in two years for the FJR1300 that first made its debut at the 2000 Intermot show. While inheriting the best of the original FJR1300 character, the flagship tourer model has been heightened for 2003 with additional features including an increased front brake disc diameter (298mm ? 320mm) and a new version with an anti-lock brakes system (ABS) as standard equipment. An anti-theft immobilizer is now fitted as standard, a new windshield shape (40mm higher) for better wind protection, plus a painted finish for the windshield attachment hardware, an added one-litre capacity storage compartment on the left side inner panel and finally built-in flashers with white lenses compliment the changes. A new set of colour schemes will also be available The power unit remains the same, a 4-stroke DOHC, 4-cylinder, 16-valve 1,298cc engine with plated cylinders and a built-in two-axis balancer.
